There luncheon buffet features a wide variety. And they are one of the few restaurants and the DC area that serve pea and potato Curry (Aloo Muttar). It is served with an authentic Indian curry and not a tomato-based sauce. It is mild even though the flavor of spices come through well.
Hidden gem ā this place is great!! The service, selection & quality of food is fantastic, plus itās very reasonably priced. I recommend their lunch buffet!
Fantastic Indian. A lot of the usual dishes plus a few favorites that are not run of the mill. Excellent breads. A great deal for lunch/brunch. Definitely veg-friendly. Been going here at least once a month for years.
I had an overall great experience! The dishes were flavorful, and the lunch buffet was very affordableāI only paid $34 for both my dad and myself. The service was quick, and the staff were very respectful. The only downside was that the food was a bit cold, still very flavorful. However, my waiter mentioned that the buffet offers many more options on weekends, and he recommended trying the weekend lunch special. I'll definitely be back to check it out!
Had lunch here on a weekday. Had lunch buffet. Nice tasty and authentic Indian food. The buffet had lesser varieties, but all were good. They constantly keep topping up the items. Naan was served at the table. It was also soft and well made. Very nice and friendly staff. Nice ambience and plenty of space for parking. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Overall enjoyed our lunch here.
The food was delicious! I tried everything on the buffet and there was nothing I didnāt like. The service was amazing as well. The waiters and waitresses were quick to keep everything clean and full. The atmosphere is nice, clean, and felt fancy while still remaining casual. I would definitely recommend and will eat here again!
Always drove passed Raaga but never thought of ever tasting their food until yesterday. OH MY!!!! What splendid food I have missed all this time. We had a home delivery that was well packaged; we ordered the Bread basket, Lamb Vindaloo, Salmon Curry, Aloo Mattar, etc. Everything tasted so delicious and refined. Portions were very generous, plus, the mango lassi had just the right sweetness and creaminess. Best Indian restaurant I have tried so far.
We tried the lunch buffet on a Saturday and weren't disappointed. Delicious food! There were a lot of vegetarian options. The dishes that stood out were the Aloo Gobi, Lamb Curry, Tandoori Chicken, Shrimp Biriyani, and the Veggie Noodles. Naan was served at the table, and was soft and warm. The interior of the restaurant could do with slight renovations like a fresh coat of paint and new carpet, and the exterior also looked a bit rundown. But apart from these minor cosmetic issues, the food was great, both taste- and value-wise. Vegetarian options: There were about 10 vegetarian options in the lunch buffet, including about 5-6 main veggie entrees, and 3-4 veggie appetizers. Parking: About 10-15 spots in a private lot by the restaurant.
The buffet is truly great. Wonderful indian food. I always enjoy coming here and have been to it many times. Iāve seen it change ownerships a few times and although Iām not a huge fan of the current interior color scheme i will say that the food has gotten better since the ownership switched and it took a brief dive.
Delicious authentic Indian food!!! Roshan went above and beyond in making this a wonderful experience for us. He was attentive and quick with service, also very personable and charismatic.. which really made it feel like home. Highly recommend!!!!!!!
Even though we moved out of the area, we try to come back when we visit. The Lamb Rogan Josh is the best ever! BUT weāve never had a bad meal here! Fresh and wonderful spices and ingredients are always in display. Apologize for the photo of empty plates but I always forget to take photos first.
We went here for a dinner on Wednesday night. Place wasnāt crowded and it was really nice and relaxing atmosphere. Pretty quiet as well. My Friend is on GF and sugar free diet and oh Lord, we found lots of things without it! Yummy? No... Super Yummy! I ordered lamb and my friends had chicken tiki masala and something else;) I forgot the names. But it was really tasty. Tried their traditional drink - kinda like a salty yogurt. Great stuff! Will be back for sure and will recommend to everyone! Thanks
Fresh quality ingredients and reasonably priced buffet around $14. You get to choose from salad, paneer, rice and other dishes. Staff is really friendly and attentive. They refilled my water cup multiple times. Loved this place for and would highly recommend it
The dining room is bright and inviting. There werenāt many guests dining inside but
it was a rainy Monday evening. They had a steady stream of pickup orders while we
were there. The food was fresh and delicious, and there are many vegetarian options
and quite a few are vegan friendly. They arenāt marked as vegan in the menu but the
waitress didnāt mind asking the chef. The waitress was attentive but didnāt hover
over us. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan friendly, but not marked vegan in the menu. There is a
vegetarian section in the menu.
I had salmon curry and enjoyed it. Cheese naan was also really good. Very attentive service - constantly refilling water glasses, etc. I live in the area and do plan to come back here.
Friendly service
Greated as we entered for a late lunch buffet.
Very clean. Great atmosphere.
The lovely smell of spices from the freshly prepared food filled the air.
Ice water was served.
We were asked if we wanted something to drink. We ordered a Taj Mahal.
It was served quickly.
There were three of us.
We ordered another bottle.
The buffet offered some salad and seasoning.
There were choices of lamb, shrimp and vegetables.
There was a pudding type dessert.
There was also some cut up Mellon.
We were also served two baskets of Naan.
We all went back for seconds.
If my stomach was bigger I would have gone back for more.
We ordered two mango lassis to go.
All delicious.
One of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. I love chicken momo and lamb
chops the best! Great ambience and amazing service. Food arrived just on time and
were really fresh and delicious. The price were reasonable. Naan was so delicate and
smelled great! I would highly highly recommend if you are craving for just the right
Indian cuisine.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible and staffs were really kind.

Engorge you all to try it.. Thanks
Best Biryani and Indian food around Alexandria. Ordered Chicken & Goat Biryaniās and both turned out to be good. Malai kofta is a delish as well. Would recommend this place and Biryani is a must try.
Very tasty Indian food good curry and the lamb was cooked just right. Attentive service, reasonably priced food. I was in the mood for good Indian food and this place totally hit the spot!
I've been coming here for years now, for the buffet mostly. Service and food is always excellent and they have the best buffet variety and selections at a great price. This is the best Indian buffet for vegetarians looking for multiple options vs just the typical 2 or 3 sides. I am consistently able to enjoy 6-8 vegetarian options at Raaga
This is my go to place whenever I come to Fairfax and DC area for good food and
ambiance. Chicken tikka, tandoor, palak paneer are my absolute favorites. I also
love buffet on the weekend. Now I know they serve buffet everyday on launch, I am
absolutely thrilled!
Parking: Just by the restaurant
Wheelchair accessibility: They do have wheelchair accessibility.
The restaurant seems average from outside and it doesnāt catch your eyes because of the location but it is one of the best Indian restaurants Iāve been. We ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken korma for dinner with garlic naan. I liked that the food was spicy enough to feel like you are eating Indian food, they had spicy sauce as a side if you wanted your food to be extra spicy.
We visited their buffet. The number of options were really great. We especially liked their Tandoori Chicken and Goat Biryani. Also, their bhel was good as well. Overall, we will surely visit again.
I met a friend for lunch on a Friday and was excited to discover their weekend buffet. Everything was delicious, service was friendly and kind. One of the best things is that this is a very quiet restaurant. It's very easy to have a conversation while enjoying the delicious food. Highly recommend.
Food is absolutely delicious. Love the Chana masala is so flavorful and the food comes with a free refill of rice. Try the Cheese Naan, yummy š
